"I started in 2000. My squash coach Tamer Raafat at school was in badminton national team and I had just quit gymnastics for an injury the year before and it was hard to get back, then I decided to try badminton. It's not popular at all in Egypt but I trained for 3 weeks and won 3 matches in the Nationals Under 12 and finished in 3rd place, and started my journey from there. I love badminton. And currently I enjoy having many professional players all over the world as friends."
