Pramod Bhagat enjoyed a successful campaign at the Spanish Para Badminton International 2026 II in Vitoria, winning two gold and a silver on the concluding day.
The SL3 star captured the mixed doubles gold with SU5 compatriot Manisha Ramadass; turning a near-defeat into a win against Brazil’s Rogerio Junior Xavier De Oliveira/Edwarda De Oliveira Dias. The Indians trailed 17-29 in the third game before they shot ahead with four straight points to capture the title.
Bhagat returned for his men’s singles final, in which he was taken the distance by compatriot Kumar Nitesh, 21-17 10-21 21-18.
However, Bhagat, aiming for a three-title sweep, was thwarted in the men’s doubles when he and Sukant Kadam fell in straight games to compatriots Kumar/Ruthick Ragupathi, 21-19 21-14.

Bhagat (right) and Kadam couldn’t get over the line.
Apart from Bhagat, six players claimed double titles, including his mixed doubles partner Ramadass, who captured the SU5 women’s singles crown beating teammate Thulasimathi Murugesan 17-21 21-16 21-15.
