The Badminton World Federation (BWF) confirms that Badminton Indonesia (PBSI) has relinquished its hosting rights for the BWF World Junior Championships 2026.

PBSI stated that hosting the event was no longer feasible and made the difficult decision in the best interests of all participants and stakeholders.

BWF is now working to appoint a new host to ensure the successful continuation of this important tournament. The bidding process has reopened. More Information.
