Several Member Associations from all five Continental Confederations have agreed to test the 3×15 scoring system at selected Grade 3 and National tournaments this season.
The following Grade 3 tournaments will run the 3×15 scoring system:

- Venezuela Future Series 2025 (10-14 June 2025)
- Czech International Future Series 2025 (19-22 June 2025)
- DOVE Saipan International 2025 (12-16 August 2025)
- PETRONAS Malaysia International Challenge 2025 (12-17 August 2025)

- LI-NING Vietnam International Series 2025 (21-26 October 2025)

Each host will collect match data, and all stakeholders, including Member Association leadership and staff, host organisers and their volunteers, players, coaches, team managers and technical officials will be asked to complete an online survey about their experience with the 3×15 system at these tournaments.
Member Associations testing the 3×15 system at select national tournaments will communicate their feedback directly to their respective membership.
Based on the feedback of the testing process, BWF Council will make a final decision regarding proposing this new system to the BWF Annual General Meeting 2026.
Scoring for the 3×15 system follows the Alternative Laws of Badminton (BWF Statutes, Section 4.1.4), according to which:
A match consists of best of three games; a game is won by the side which first scores 15 points (minimum difference of two points). When both sides are 14-all, the side that gains a two-point lead first wins the game. If the score becomes 20-all, the side scoring the 21st point first wins the game.
Change of ends occurs at the end of the first game second game, and in the third game when a side first scores eight points. Interval time during each game is 60 seconds when the leading score reaches eight points and 120 seconds between games.
